Im Laufe des heutigen Tages wurde eine neue Hot Toys R2-D2 Sixth Scale Figur vorgestellt. Die Neuvorstellung des Herstellers kommt mit Die-Cast Dome und Licht- und Soundeffekten.
Der neue Hot Toys R2-D2 basiert auf seinem Auftritt in Star Wars: The Force Awakens und wurde entsprechend mit Wheathering-Effekten versehen. Die Sixth Scale Figur des beliebten Astromechs kommt mit Die-Cast Kuppel, welche via Touch-Funktion mit vielen LEDs beleuchtet wird. Außerdem kann man mit einer kleinen mitgelieferten Fernbedienung in Form des Star Wars Logos einige Soundeffekte abspielen.
Die neue Hot Toys R2-D2 1/6 Scale Figur soll spätestens im ersten Quartal 2018 erscheinen und trägt die Nummer MMS408. Zu einem Preis von $219.99 kann die Figur ab sofort vorbestellt werden. Die deutschen Händler werden wohl spätestens morgen nachziehen.
