Hersteller Gentle Giant hat im Laufe der vergangenen Tage insgesamt drei neue Milestone Statues aus dem Star Wars-Universum vorgestellt. Bo-Katan Kryze und Grogu auf dem Sehenden Stein aus der Live-Action-Serie The Mandalorian sowie der Ewok Chief Chirpa aus Episode VI.

Alle drei Milestone Statues erscheinen im Maßstab 1:6 und als Limited Edition mit jeweils 1.000 Exemplaren.
Chief Chirpa erscheint als sogenanntes Web-Exclusive, was wohl bedeutet, dass man ihn nur online erwerben kann. Für Fans der Reihe, die ohnehin nur online bestellen, dürfte der Exclusive-Status also kein Hindernis darstellen. Und Grogu auf dem Sehenden Stein verfügt über einen auswechselbaren Kopf mit geschlossenen Augen sowie eine LED-Leuchtfunktion im Stein. Zu Bo-Katan Kryze gibt es keinerlei nennenswerten Besonderheiten.
Alle drei Neuankündigungen sollen bis spätestens Juli 2022 versandbereit sein, wobei diese Angabe wohl stark bezweifelt werden darf. Wir melden uns zurück, sobald die Statuen auch hierzulande zur Vorbestellung verfügbar sind und es Updates zum tatsächlichen Versanddatum gibt. Chief Chirpa
A Gentle Giant Ltd. release! Hail to the Chief! The leader of the Ewoks, Chief Chirpa, is the newest 1/6 scale statue in the Gentle Giant Ltd. Milestones collection! Brandishing his ceremonial staff and accompanied by his pet iguana, Chirpa leads the attack on the Empire in this approximately 7-inch resin statue. Limited to only 1000 pieces, it comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.
Bo-Katan Kryze
A Gentle Giant Ltd. release! The Mandalorian gifted warrior returns to Gentle Giant Ltd. as a 1/6 scale Milestones statue! Depicting the armored heroine as she appears on Star Wars: The Mandalorian TV series, this approximately 12-inch statue features detailed 3-D sculpting and hand-painted details. Limited to only 1000 pieces, it comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.
Grogu (on Seeing Stone)
A Gentle Giant Ltd. release! Open your inner eye! Grogu, a.k.a. The Child, sits atop a Jedi Seeing Stone, reaching his mind out into the cosmos in search of a friendly voice. Measuring approximately 8 inches tall, this 1/6 scale statue features lifelike sculpting and hand-painted details, and includes interchangeable eyes-open and eyes-shut heads. Plus, the writing on the seeing stone lights up! It comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity. Limited to only 1000 pieces!
